I hope that not all the Australians are idiots like this. These people are insane. Hey, I found interesting video on YouTube. What do you think about it? There are hundreds of comments have been posted on this video and discuss is still now going on. If anti whaling protesters have any proper opinion NOT based on ethics religion or sentiment, I want to know.
Don't you guys have anything else to discuss in the congress? Annuity problems and hepatitis problems and more. It's such a waste of the time. UFO stand for "Unidentified Flying Object". Saying that I haven't identified UFO totaly doesn't make sense. And of course UFO isn't a space ship alien aboards, in the first place.
An event like this is admirable and we should do things like this more often, manbe once a month or couple of weeks. How about we doing the same, although Japan isn't yet going to participate in this event, according to this article.
These experimental events have been held serveral times around the world, although I haven't heard the news like this in Japan.
Taking into account time difference of 15hours (14hours if Chicago is in summer time), if we are to participate this experiment, the light off time will be 5 o'clock in the morning. Most of the people are not yet awake. Or should we ignore the time differences?

I just wrote a article about the convenience of YouTube and niconico. Is this article saying that watching YouTubes and niconicos will be illegal?
Deciding to buy CDs and DVDs by watcing interesting PVs and trailers on YouTube has became sort of a lifestyle to me. There sure is millions of people who do the same as me. So if this is going to be illegal, there gonna be whole lot of criminals out in the world.
Article says that there are people who worries that most of the people is going to be "potentialy criminals". I have no idea how many people use YouTubes and other uploading sites. May be 100 million or so? Are they going to arrest them all? I mean YouTube is not Japanese site in the first place. How is this new law going to deal with the foreign uploading sites? No idea neither.
Reading the article, members of the committee don't seem to understand how the internet works. I don't believe that this new regulation is going to work. Controling uploader sounds realizable, but controling downloader is something quite redicurous. It just seems that the consequence was already there and the committee was there just trying to make it sound plausible, ignoring 7500 of public comments.

I was watching figure skating program on the TV yesterday. The Grand Prix Final 2007, the one which was held at Torino (Italy).
I wasn't paying much attention to the program since I was playing with my dog at that time. Just my TV was turned on and I was rather watching it kind of absentmindedly.
Then I heard someone was performing on the music I really like. Justin Timberlake. I got glued on to program. The perfomance was really good but was just able to see the last half of the performance and couldn't figure out who was the performer. (the program went on to the next performer.)
But there is nothing to be disappointed about. These days YouTube and other movie uploading sites always has someone who've recorded the program. All you have to do is search in the site. Tadah! I don't really know about stuffs like copy rights and televising right though.
Sometimes I wonder that watching one whole TV program is wait of time. Of course there is some event that I want to see it on the spot. But most of the time you can find it afterward and watch the certain part on the internet.

I usualy don't take much interests in foreign campaigns. But why Japan has to be involved in Korean election? Do any Koreans feel something wrong about this campaign promises? I hope at least they have brains to think about it. It's none of our problem. And this guy is expected to win the election. There is always pros and cons about international issues, but this is insane.
There is nothing wrong with Japan's policy and there's no guilty conscience about it. It's perfect clear and sound. So keep your confidence and be aggressive. Japan seldom takes firm stand like this in diplomacy, but not in this issue.
But there are people who still thinks that mirror shows side ways around. Where does that come from?
Probably this is the psycological explanation. Although I haven't read the actual paper introduced in this article, I'll show my point of view. The important fact about this issue is that human being is made almost symmetry in horizontal ways and absolutely not in vertical way. This makes us to misunderstanding in the direction.
Stand in front of the mirror and put your right hand up. The figure in the mirror looks as if he is putting his left hand. But think of it. The hand of the figure in the mirror is definitely your right hand and it is reflecting at the right side of your body.
Why do you think it is your left hand? You are seeing from as if you are in inside of the mirror. Since our body is horaizontaly symmetry, it almost makes sense if you take it as if the figure in the mirror switched his right and left side and turned 180 degrees around. But ofcource there isn't any person standing in the other side of the mirror. It's not a fairy tale. The most surprising part of this mystery is that this still is a mystery. Hasn't it been solved?
There are people who take putting a log on the internet as something very risky. In some part I agree with it. As I wrote the other day, if anythning is once on internet it could be seen by millions of people and the article never disappears. Once you hit that enter button, it is beyond your reach. And that risk was always there, since internet has started. It doesn't mean that internet became riskier than before, but there are increasing people who don't realize the risk internet already had.
On the other hand, internet is somewhere you can be anyone else. Anoymous. This makes internet something very useful. You can write whatever you REALLY think. You can hear the other's real intention no matter your or his positions are.
Internet is just a tool. Use it wisely. It's not something scary.

Urawa Reds beat Sepahan Iran by 3-1. I'm not a big fan of one of the J-League team, but this is amazing! And it is really exciting to see my home-team is holding their own againt real big team which participate in Toyota Cup. The Next match semi-final is against AC Milan, needless to say, the strongest club team in the europe. I can't wait for the day.

Recently, I often hear news that some certain weblogs got on fire. It doesn't mean that weblog is actually burning. Its comment section is being flooded by thousands of comments mostly because webmaster had written something stupid and weblog itself has been exposed to other bulletin board. In these cases, it doesn't only ruins his life but involves other people and companies. http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20071207-00000063-zdn_n-sci (Yahoo!News : 「事実無根」では不十分？ 従業員の「炎上」、企業の対応策は)
Weblogs are place where you can write whatever you like. Diaries, opinions, claims, and so on. Since you can write them anoymously, there are some people who confesses their little crimes. Shoplifting, speeding, assault something like these.
These people don't even reglet nor reflect them, but boast about it. And these people don't realize that this is something different from little chatting with your friend. Millions of people can read it and it doesn't disappear.

I look at myself in the mirror everyday, to check my hair set or just to ajust my tie. I think most of the people does at least once a day.
But have you ever wondered why does it reflects us right side left, and not up side down? There was an article that says this mystery has been discussed over and over since the day of ancient Greek. http://mainichi.jp/select/science/news/20071209ddm016040025000c.html (毎日新聞 : 鏡の中：左右逆転の謎 古くはプラトンを悩ませ 今も熱い論争) It says that this mytery has two side of views, physical explanation and psychological explanation.
In physical point of view, I think it is quite a simple question. Why does mirror reflect side ways around and not up side down? Imagine this. If mirror just reflects your figure side ways around, WHY AERN'T YOU SEEING YOUR BACK IN THE MIRROR!? See? Then does it flips front way back? Well, put the mirror on the ground or put it on the ceiling and have a look at it. TADAH! you've made a mirror that shows up side down!
This really simple experiment indicate that saying that mirror reflects side ways around is wrong. It depends on the direction you look into the mirror. Mirror DOES NOT reflects side way around nor even up side down nor front side back.
Then what does mirror do? It reflects as if it turns over the axis the direction of that is perpendicular from the mirror surface. In another word, the mirror reflects plane symmetry. It means that if you put the mirror in front of you, it flips front side back. If you put it on the ceiling, it flips up side down. Got it?
The only significant question that has meaning is that whether whales are increasing or decreasing, and how can we use them as natural resorces. So back to the first question.
To understand this, someone has to capture some whales as scientific research, and that what's Japanese research whaling fleet is doing. What Japan is doing has 100% agreement of IWC so no one have any rights to disturb or interfere their action. What extreme anti-whaling organization like Green Peace and Sea Shepherd are doing is terrorism. Arrest warrant has been issued for stupid actress. I really hope that Japanese crews don't get any harm by these people.
According to JWA, population of minke whale and some other species are increasing and there is no evidence that any whale species are endangered to extinction. http://www.whaling.jp/qa.html#03_02 (日本捕鯨協会Q&A)
Although many of the species is at increase, humpback whale which Japan is now aiming to capture for the first time since moratorium, still has small number compared to those of other increasing whales. I searched on internet but couldn't find the details of resent numbers. So I couldn't figure out whethere action Japanese fleet is taking is right or is it too much.
There are people who think that whaling is bad because whales are cute and precious. Although it is quite natural and noble to feel cluelty to killing ANY living beings, forcing their opinion to someone else is too much. There are countries where people think cow is sacred, there are countries where pig is sacred. On the other hand, there are country where they eat dogs. Whales aren't any special between these life beings.

News : 「HEROES/ヒーローズ」のチアリーダー役、日本で逮捕状？) There are always some idiots who thinks their opinion is the world's only standard. It's their religious point of view and its their dietary culture. There is no sense saying this and that or pressing opinion to these people and I think it is really stupid. I've never heard Hinduism saying to other people not to eat beef. Muslims don't stop other people from eating pork. Why is whale so different? These excited-anti-whaling-people can't answer this question, can they?

The worst and the stupidest kind of opinion is that asserting anti-whaling because whales are inteligent mammals. No IWC (International Whaling Commission) members or any other official organizations isn't arguing from this point of view. But voices of mass medias and NGOs of anti-whaling countries has arose public opinion, and lots of people still blindly believe this.
Judging its cluelty by their inteligence is very dangerous opinion. These people really believes that there is no problem killing HUMAN if they are less inteligent. And furthermore, having big brain like whales doesn't actually mean that they are inteligent. If the size of their brain is in proportion to their inteligence, they must be a lot smarter than human beings.
